My Philosophy on Collecting Zippo Lighters

I have a very simple philosophy when it come to collecting Zippo Lighters.  I only collect lighters that have never been filled, lit, or used in any way, except for display purposes.  They must have the correct matching insert, and also be in the correct box.  These lighters are typically called mint, MIB, MIT, unused, etc..

I have tried to collect lighters that represent each different model type as Zippo changed them along its history, and also to collect lighters with different advertisers/logos on them.
